COVID-19 UPDATES

2021

The logistics of hosting events in a COVID-19 reality comes with new challenges. With ample outdoor space in the Fable Farm Orchard, (just across the road from Feast & Field) we can offer a safe environment for socially gathering in community while maintaining physical distancing. We will continue to follow state safety guidelines.

Kiss The Cow Farm is currently accepting members for their 2021 Spring and Summer CSAs with pick-ups at the Farm Store or a location near you.

We Hope You’ll Join Us This Year!

What happens on the farm may seem like magic, but the behind the scenes, work to prepare the venue takes time and money.

We’re committed to keeping events accessible and membership helps make this possible.

Feast and Field Farmers Market Membership Card Online Promotiom

Annual member dues support the less romantic costs, from handicapped bathroom facilities, to maintaining land for parking, to costs of weekly venue preparation, cleanup and maintenance. This year the purchase of a new tent will be an investment in years of events to come! We will thank you with a list of perks, the biggest perk being part of the sustainability of these valued community gatherings.

Feast & Field Membership

If you choose to become a member, you’ll be supporting the ongoing development of Feast & Field Market.

Classic Membership fees are only $25 per individual, or $50 per family. * Drink specials

Field Membership fees are $60/person, or $100/family. * Drink specials and Fable certificate for cheese plate at Saturday Tasting.

Angel Membership at $300 and up * all of the above, plus our eternal gratitude, (and a thank you goodie bag.)

It takes less than five minutes to sign up! Simply fill out the Feast & Field membership form and pay through our Square site, or if you prefer checks, please write “membership” in the memo and send to:

Food & Drink Options

Fable Farm’s dinner menu this season includes meat and vegetarian taco options and salad options and a rotating special. Food can be pre-ordered when you make your dinner/ concert reservation.

Due to Vermont State liquor licensing laws, there is no BYOB. Food from Fable Farm is sourced from Eastman Farm, Kiss the Cow and Moonlighting Farm.

Ice Cream is made just down the road at Kiss the Cow Farm. An assortment of foods from the Feast & Field Farmers are available down the road at the Kiss the Cow Farm Store, or through their Full-diet CSA.

Some Friendly Reminders for When You Visit…

Dogs
We ask that dogs stay at home. If you must bring them, and need to walk them on a leash, it is permitted in the parking lot area, not near the market tents or hills where people gather. Please do not walk dogs by fields where the cows are grazing or vegetables are growing. Dogs can spook the cows, and hurt the growing vegetable. Please be mindful to clean up after your dogs when walking them in the parking lot.

Drinks & BYOB
No outside alcoholic drinks are allowed due to Vermont State Law. Alcoholic drinks are sold by Fable Farm & Fermentory. Please drink responsibly, and watch out for your neighbors. If you see anything unsafe we should be aware of, please notify someone behind the counter in the market tent.

This is a Working Farm
Feast & Field Farmers’ Market is a family friendly event held on a working farm. Please be aware that the fences around the farm are electric. Most should be off during market hours, but as a general precaution, please avoid fences.

Families & Children
Please remember to keep an eye on all those little ones! We recommend using the buddy system.

Driving & Traffic
Please keep speeds down in our driveway and parking area, and follow the posted speed limits in our hometown of Barnard, Vermont.
